When your pension is paid

If your yearly pension is more than £720, we’ll pay you every 3 months. If it’s less than £720, we’ll pay you every month.

If you get your pension monthly, we’ll pay you on the 15th of each month. If you get it every 3 months, we’ll pay you on the 15th of January, April, July and October.

If the day we’re due to pay you is on a weekend or bank holiday, we’ll pay you the last working day before then instead.

We’ll pay your pension into your bank account. Your bank account needs to be in your name, although it can be a joint account.

You won’t get a payslip for your pension unless the amount changes by more than £5 from the previous month.
