We are pleased to report that Mrs Justice Bacon DBE has approved the settlement.

Mrs Justice Bacon has now issued her judgment approving the settlement in the IHER case.

Revised settlement terms have been finalised and signed. A Court hearing has been scheduled for 24 February 2022.

The IHER settlement approval hearing has been postponed to the week of 21 February 2022.

The IHER settlement approval hearing will take place in the High Court in the week of 11 October 2021.

The parties have now agreed the detailed settlement terms. They will be considered by a judge at a hearing in October.

July’s hearing has been re-scheduled for October to allow more time for discussions with HMRC.

As confidential settlement discussions are still ongoing, the judge has agreed to re-list the hearing for July.

As a result of ongoing settlement discussions, the judge has agreed to put the case on hold for 3 months.

The IHER court case will be heard in November. Both the members’ and employers’ representatives are building their own case.
